Dealers' Den
Oklacon recognizes the importance of our dealers and extends an invitation for dealers of all sizes to attend Oklacon 2013. To maximize exposure, the Dealer's Den shares space in the large activity hall in Turkey Roost along with the art show and Artists' Alley. Because we make it a priority to showcase our dealers by giving them prime space to showcase their wares, we can accept only a limited number of dealer applications per year.
There is a fee to be a dealer (vendor) at Oklacon. The fee includes an Attending registration for one other person to accompany you. $10 of this fee is a pass-through licensing fee paid directly to Roman Nose State Park. This fee covers the duration of the event and is non-refundable, no matter how much the vendor sells. All sales are subject to Oklahoma sales tax, and as part of your vendor registration, your information will be shared both with the state park as well as the Oklahoma Tax Commission in accordance with their reporting requirements.

Policies and Procedures
- You may resell works of others with permission: Written proof of permission from the trademark/copyright/character owner must be provided for all reproductions and prints of any original works not belonging to the vendor. Items purchased through a wholesaler and resold do not require any such documentation.
- Merchandise: Only dealers may sell merchandise at Oklacon, including original works premade in bulk, such as t-shrits and buttons.
- Prints: Only dealers may sell prints at Oklacon.
- Limits on mature works: The Dealers' Den is a general audience area. All works on display must be appropriate for an audience of all ages. Mature works must be shielded with opaque materials to hide any mature elements, including artistic nudity and excessive gore. Example portfolio binders or adult literature that contain any mature works must be collected into a separate binder clearly marked as inappropriate for minors or kept behind a restricted shelf or enclosure, and the dealer may allow others to peruse a mature binder at their table after checking for non-minor badges.
- For convention attendees only: Only registered, paid attendees will be granted access to the Dealers' Den at Oklacon. Those without convention badges will not be permitted in the Dealers' Den.
- Dealers must report sales and remit taxes: Each dealer must complete the required Oklahoma Sales Tax reporting forms stating their total sales and remit Oklahoma Sales Tax to the registration desk to be sent on your behalf with your form to the Oklahoma Tax Commission. This is a state requirement based on the convention's Special Event Permit. Dealers are not required to obtain individual Oklahoma Sales Tax Permits, though they may do so and file their taxes under their permit number. Oklacon is required by law to report any dealer to the Oklahoma Tax Commission who is presumed to have made sales in this venue but fails to file a sales report and/or remit sales tax to the convention.
- Seats are assigned: The Oklacon Dealers' Den is arranged and seats are assigned by the Dealers' Den Boss. Dealers may not change their table assignments or move tables without the express permission of the Den Boss. Electricity is typically not available in the Oklacon Dealers' Den, though special requests such as electrical needs should be requested of the Den Boss prior to registering for a space in this venue. Seats unclaimed by noon Friday of the convention may be reassigned to those on the Dealers' Den Waiting List, as determined by the Den Boss. No refunds will be made for dealers who fail to claim their tables.
- No selling outside the venue: Convention dealers are not allowed to sell goods or services outside of the Dealers' Den for the duration of the convention.
- No security provided: Dealers are responsible for watching and securing their own works and materials in the Dealers' Den. To maximize the exposure of Oklacon Dealers' and their goods and services, the Den is located in a high-traffic common area. There are times that the Den is cordoned off, but is not yet locked for the evening while other events occur in adjoining space. Neither Oklacon nor Fuzzy Productions, LLC assumes liability for damaged, lost, or stolen items from the Dealers' Den.
- Abandoned items will be returned or auctioned for charity: Items left after the close of the convention shall become the property of Fuzzy Productions, LLC. Items shall be returned to the deaker within 90 days of the convention at the dealer's shipping and insurance expense. Abandoned items shall be auctioned off by Fuzzy Productions, LLC in the next year’s Oklacon Charity Auction.
